2026 OFMA Spring Technical

April 7, 2026 – River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa, OK

Abstracts due by March 6

OFMA is inviting speakers to present at our 2026 Spring Technical to be held in Tulsa Oklahoma. The 2026 Spring Technical theme is “Trusting Your Data”. Our decisions must be based on sound, accurate data, with appropriate modeling methods. Basic or advanced topics should relate to the following:

  • Stormwater & Floodplain Management: Modeling, GIS, Hydrology and Hydraulics, Data Acquisition
  • Hazard Mitigation: Risk Communication, Risk Reduction, Case Studies, Local Funding Opportunities
  • NFIP/FPM/CRS: EC’s, Surveys, No Adverse Impacts, Dams & Levees
  • Stormwater Quality: Successful Projects, Case Studies, GI/LID, Watershed Studies
  • Community Outeach: Effective Engagement, Public Education
  • Student Research: Topics related to Water Quality, Resource Management, Hazard Mitigation
  • Technology: Tools and Data

Speakers will be allocated between 20 and 40 minutes, but alternative lengths may be accommodated. If you are interested in presenting or know someone who would, please submit an abstract to Zack Henon at zack.henson@stillwaterok.gov.  Selection of speakers will be made by March 17, 2026.  You are encouraged to submit topics early to secure your speaking selection.
