2026 OFMA Annual Conference
Sept. 21-23, 2026 – Osage Casino Hotel in Tulsa, OK
Abstracts due by August 10
OFMA is inviting speakers to present at our 2026 Annual Conference to be held in Tulsa Oklahoma. The 2026 conference theme is “Standing on Our Own”. OFMA is an amazing community of professionals with a wealth of knowledge and experience. We must be able to lean on each other for guidance, technical assistance, and support. Consider sharing your knowledge today! Basic or advanced topics should relate to the following:
- Stormwater & Floodplain Management: GIS, Hydrology and Hydraulics, Modeling, Data Acquisition
- Hazard Mitigation: Risk Reduction, Case Studies, Funding Updates
- Community Rating System: Updates, Cycle Visits, Annual Recertifications (or lack thereof)
- Stormwater Quality: Successful Projects, Case Studies, GI/LID, Watershed Studies
- Community Outreach: Effective Engagement, Public Education
- Student Research: Topics related to Water Quality, Resource Management, Hazard Mitigation
Speakers will be allocated between 20 and 40 minutes, but alternative lengths and workshops may be accommodated. If you are interested in presenting or know someone who would, please submit an abstract to Zack Henon at zack.henson@stillwaterok.gov. Selection of speakers will be made by August 17, 2026. You are encouraged to submit topics early to secure your speaking selection. Speakers will be required to register for the workshop. Any questions, please call Zack Henson at (405) 533-8436.
